The women's soccer team also handed out individual awards as voted on by the team. The Rookie of the Year Award was a tie. Jenna Kasch presented the two awards in place of last year's winner Bri McClain (who is in Florida at an NCAA student-athlete leadership seminar) to Kaity Bojorquez and Adrienne Sorenson. As a freshman Kaity was a starting defender on the team last year at both center back and outside back. She played the most minutes of any player on the team. Adrienne Sorenson, a JC transfer from Sierra College, was 2nd on the team in goals, 3rd on the team in assists, and 2nd on the team in total points.
The Most Inspirational Player award was won by senior Petra Schaaf. Petra was not able to attend due to a final exam and the award was accepted on her behalf by last year's winner Kim DiNardo. Petra was a four-year member of the Warriors, an outstanding defender as well as fantastic student-athlete. She was known to everyone for always putting her team first!
