We finally arrived back in Turlock about 45 minutes ago. It sure was an eventful day. Here is a recap. The morning started at 8:30 a.m. with a team meeting to review our tactics for the game. Then we had a great breakfast at the hotel which included waffles, eggs, potatoes, bacon, sausage, cereal, OJ, water etc....At 9:45 a.m. we boarded the bus for Cal State San Marcos. It was off to the training room and the locker room to change for the game.The match ended in a 0-0 tie after 2 overtimes. It was pretty intense. Click here for game story.
After the game it was off to the showers and then on the bus again to grab a quick bite at Chipotle and then back home. Our bus driver Janet (pictured) is amazing!
