Wow! You thought it was hot in Turlock these days. Try Davis. The Warriors did a great job today, despite the 102 temps at kickoff, battling the UC Davis Aggies. Despite a 1-0 loss, the team showed tremendous defensive organization, and created a bunch of great goal scoring opportunities. The Warriors played 23 players in the match. All three goalkeepers played in the match but were only required to come up with four saves total. In the first half Jessica Sitarz stopped a breakaway by the Aggies which was their only real scoring chance in the first 45 minutes. Next up for the Warriors will be UOP on Sunday night in Stockton.
