Warriors In The Classroom!

Only a few weeks after receiving the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Team Academic Award the Warriors are at it again in the classroom.

The end of the Fall semester brought a lot of good news on the academic front. The team posted a 3.45 grade point average! Over 90% of the team received over a 3.0 GPA and nearly 60% of the team received over a 3.5 GPA. In addition two Warriors received a 4.0! GO CLASSROOM WARRIORS!

Meet Kasch Money!

Hi my name is Jenna Kasch (K aahh sssh) but most people call me Kasch (Cash). Welcome to our blog! Don't you just LOVE IT! Every once in a while we are going to introduce members of our team to you so you can get to know us better.

I was born in raised in Simi Valley, California. In my spare time I like to snowboard and wakeboard. My favorite food is breakfast sausage. But me an my roommate (Caitie Van Wormer aka VW) eat pasta because we are lazy and it is easy.

I'm currently a member of the Jewish Jammers which is a Guitar Hero band I created. Oh yeah I'm Jewish. Me and my band member are still in the practice stage. We haven't put on our first concert yet but tickets are going on sale soon. We do have groupie t-shirts available as well for a small fee.

I have a hamster named Norbert. I also used to have a fish named Pedro but he jumped ship after three years. Sad story....According to my teammates, especially Bri McClain, I'm the best dancer on the team. Look for a video of my dancing skills on this blog in the coming months...My specialty is the Soldier Boy.

Do You Play Futsal? We Do!

It's that time a year again! That's right it is Futsal time! As a team we like to get together to play this exciting version of soccer. Futsal is a 5-a-side game (4 field players plus a goalkeeper) played indoors on a gym floor with no walls and a special soccer ball. The ball is a smaller ball (size 4) and it doesn't bounce at all.

Futsal is really great for improving individual skills. All of the great players from Brazil started by playing Futsal.

Plus it is just fun!
