Then And Now!

This past spring the Warrior women's soccer team spent time volunteering with Habitat for Humanity to build homes in the Modesto Area for low income families. The area, known as Hope Village, is finally close to complete. Check out the article in today's Modesto Bee http://tiny.cc/1T681. It sure looks a lot different than the last time we were there!

Merced Fog & Warriors Make A Great Team!

The Warriors ran an Intensive Training Academy this last week for the Merced Fog and head coach Eddie Montiel. Coach Bolton was assisted by Warrior women's soccer assistant coach Adrienne Sorenson, goalkeeper Millie Brown (who was in charge of goalkeeper training), and forward Marissa Dunaway. The Warriors staff spent four nights working with the Fog on passing and combination play. It was a great time! The Fog did an awesome job and have promised to come this fall and be ball girls for us.

The sash will be worn tomorrow and Satuday at the graduation ceremonies. Mel, Petra and Caitie played four years for the Warriors while Adrienne and Tiffani competed for two seasons after transfering from community college. Sorenson Joins Coaching Staff

While getting a job right out of college is pretty common...walking directly from your last final to your new job does not happen very often. However, that's what Adrienne Sorenson did today. After completing a stellar playing career for the Warriors, Sorenson today joined the coaching staff as the top assistant and recruiting coordinator for Cal State Stanislaus women's soccer. An official announcement will be coming soon at warriorathletics.com.
