Keshia Lyons -- Sacramento, CA

Known by most simply as Key, this highly recruited forward joins the Warriors out of New Technology High School in Sacramento. She is four-year Honor Roll student. While she hasn't played high school soccer all four years she has been on varsity since her freshman year leading the team in goals and assists. She was voted team captain her sophomore year. Her high school coach is Mike Ferrigno. She plays her club soccer for Lonnee Richardson and the Nor Cal Elite soccer club. She has led them to over seven tournament championships over the past two years. She is also team captain. Her major is undecided. Her parents are DeAnna and Scott.

Coach Bolton: Key is a game changer. She combines elite level skill with amazing speed and athletic ability. I have no doubt that she is going to be an outstanding college forward and help take our program to the next level. In addition to her attacking skill she is also an extremely hard worker defensively. She has been very well coached in all aspects of the game.

Fun Fact: Key's high school New Technology is a charter school with approximately 300 students.

Kelsi Decker -- Truckee, CA

One of the most decorated players in Truckee High School history Kelsi brings her impressive resume to the Warriors. She led THS to three consecutive state championships. This season she was named All State Most Valuable Player and All Mount Rose League MVP. Kelsi is a four-time All Mount Rose League selection and a four-time All State Selection. THS is coached by Amy Valdivia. Kelsi plays her club soccer for San Juan Spirits '93 ECNL and coach Tony Perez. She plans on majoring in Kinesiology. Her parents are Vicki and Ron.

Coach Bolton: Kelsi will challenge for fastest Warrior right away. She has incredible quickness and top level speed. She will be a threat to get in behind defenses. In addition to her speed and athletic ability Kelsi is a very good finisher and crosser of the ball. Look for her to make an immediate impact.

Fun Fact: Kelsi recently won over $600 playing Bingo. She was by far the youngest person in the room.

Nikki Campbell -- Newbury Park, CA

A speedy attacking player Nikki is a three-year varsity soccer player at Newbury Park High School. Her versatility, skill and athletic ability allow her to play nearly every position on the field. She was also named Scholar Athlete in 2010. Nikki plays her club soccer for Crescenta Valley and coach Reggie Rivas. Nikki is planning on majoring in Business. Her parents are Lisa and Randy. Coach Bolton: Nikki is an explosive and crafty attacking player who will be a terrific offensive threat for us. She will come in and challenge for a starting position at the wing forward or outside back positions. Her ability to play equally well on the right and the left side makes her extremely valuable. However, what really makes Nikki special is her work ethic. It is hard to find forwards that bring the energy Nikki brings to each match.

Fun Fact: Nikki can't ride a bike.

Alyssa Dodson -- Simi Valley, CA

Known as a tough defender Alyssa led RHS to a Marmonte League Championship and the second round of the CIF playoffs in 2010. For her efforts the team captain was named All Marmonte League Second Team. RHS is coached by Kevin Corely. Alyssa plays her club soccer for Crescenta Valley and coach Reggie Rivas. CV finsihed second in the Coast League in 2010. Alyssa is planning on majoring in Liberal Studies with the career goal of becoming an elementary school teacher. Her parents are Tina Jansen and Josh Dodson.

Coach Bolton: Alyssa is a versatile central player that can play both center back and defensive midfield. She plays with a great deal of intensity and heart. She is one of those players that you hate to play against but love having on your team because she is so tough and physical. Alyssa also has been very well coached and has a great understanding of the game.

Fun Fact: Alyssa was a ballerina until age 13.

Madeline Easterbrook -- Fair Oaks, CA

A three-year varsity starter Madeline is a physical center defender for Bella Vista High School. Known for her physical presence she has helped lead the Broncos for the past three seasons. BVHS is coached by Christie Wheeler. Madeline plays her club soccer for the prestigious San Juan Soccer Club. She is the team captain. The Spirits are coached by Paul Arellanes. Madeline plans on majoring in Business Administration. Her parents are Carola and John.

Coach: Madeline is an eraser on the field. She has the speed and physical ability to delete any mistakes that are made defensively. She has all the physical tools to be a great college player. She has an incredible combination of speed, size and athletic ability. Madeline is also one of those defenders that is an offensive threat. She is fantastic scoring with her head on corner kicks and she has a 50 yard throw in that will be a great weapon for us.

Fun Fact: Madeline (along with teammate Chelsea Lewandowski) was featured on ABC News 10 signing her National Letter of Intent. CLICK HERE TO SEE VIDEO...

Jessica Cervantes -- Stockton, CA

The reigning Tri City Athletic League MVP, Jessica is one of the most prolific goal scorers in section history. In her three seasons and SMHS she has amassed an astounding 84 goals and 46 assists. In 2010 she led her team to the section championship match against Northern California power St. Francis of Sacramento. Her high school coach is Mark Kusanovich. She plays her club soccer for the California Cougars and Matt Kusanovich. Jessica plans on majoring in Criminal Justice with a minor in Sociology. Her parents are Ines and Max.

Coach Bolton: Jessica is absolutely magical with the ball. She combines touch, power and strength and it is very difficult to get the ball away from her. Her left foot is absolutely wicked and I know she is going to be a force in the CCAA. She will be a great compliment to the blazing speed of some of our other forwards because she will also be able to score from distance.

Fun Fact: Both of Jessica's sisters went to Cal State Stanislaus. Her sister Crystal graduated last year. Her sister Vanessa is a center back for the Warriors.

Brianna Murawski -- Tracy, CA

This two-time First Team All League goalie is known for her toughness and courage in front of the net. In 2010 she led MHS to the first playoff appearance in school history. Her high school coach is Aryel Saldate. She is also a four-year letter winner in basketball. In addition to being a two-sport athlete Brianna is very accomplished in the classroom. She is ranked 2nd in her class and has been on the Gold Honor Roll all four years. She plays her club soccer for the California Cougars and is coached by Matt Kusanovich. Brianna plans on majoring in Kineseology and becoming a physical therapist. Her parents are LouAnne and Mathew.

Coach Bolton: Brianna has the most important quality any goalkeeper can have -- she keeps the ball out of the net. She has the heart to dive into any situation and make the save for her team. She is also a terrific leader who is able to communicate and organize her defense. Brianna is going to come in and challenge for playing time right away.

Fun Fact: Brianna is deathly afraid of the ocean and boats.

Lica Monobe -- Fremont, CA

A MVAL First Team All League player from Mission San Jose High School in Fremont, Lica is an outstanding center back and center midfielder. The four-year letter winner in both soccer and track is captain of the two-time league champion Warriors. The NCS Scholar Athlete also helped lead the team to an NCS appearance in 2010. The Warriors are coached by Stephanie Cockrill. Lica plays her club soccer for Bay Oaks and coach Katie Teekell who were State Cup Quarter-Finalists in 2010. Lica is planning on majoring in Kineseology. Her parents are Heidi and Hideki.

Coach Bolton: Lica is going to be an terrific college soccer player. She is a very complete central player who does everything well. She is the type of player that can go unnoticed in games because she is so steady and makes things look so easy. But make no mistake she is doing all the hard work and making everyone around her better.

Fun Fact: Her name Lica or Rika (in Japanese) is the name of a popular Barbie doll in Japan. Lica owns two of those dolls.

Alejandra Larranaga -- Ceres, CA

A four-year varsity member of MHS, Alejandra is a wizard with the ball. Coached by Josh Fritz she is a two-time M.M.C. All Conference selection. She plays her club soccer for Ajax United Elite '94 where she is teammates with Jennifer Ramos and Tina Benson. Ajax is coached by Mark Vallee and Gabriel Bolton. She was Modesto Ajax Female Athlete of the Year in 2008. Alejandra is undecided in her major. Her parents are Miquel and Lisa.

Coach Bolton: Alex is a very gifted dribbler of the ball. She plays with great skill in very small spaces and has the vision to execute great passes. She will make a terrific attacking midfielder in our system and I anticipate her breaking down defenses with her dribble and passing skills. It is worth the price of admission just to see Alex beat players 1v1.

Fun Fact: Alejandra is a brilliant student who is part of the prestigious International Baccalaureate Program at Modesto High School.

Tina Benson -- Merced, CA

The Merced Sun-Star All-Area Player of the Year, Tina is a two-footed forward with great pace and athletic ability. In 2009 she notched 20 goals and five assists. She was All Central Conference First Team. In 2009 she scored 14 goals along with six assists. Her high school coach is Brooke Wilson. Tina plays her club soccer for the Modesto Ajax and coaches Mark Vallee and Gabriel Bolton. She is undecided as to her major. Her parents are Tim and Robin.

Coach Bolton: Tina is an extremely talented attacking player. She has a forward's mentality and wants the ball at her feet. She isn't afraid to take the big shot and win the match. Tina's ability to play equally well both on the left and the right side make her extremely valuable and someone that is going to make an immediate impact at a wing forward position.

Fun Fact: Her favorite pair of Mia Hamm cleats from when she was eight years old still hang in her room.

Katelyn Nebesnick -- Gilroy, CA

A phenomenal goalscorer with a stellar left foot, Katelyn is a two-time All CCAA player from Gilroy HS. She helped lead GHS to four consecutive TCAL Championships. She was team captain in 2009, 2010, and 2011. She is also a four-time honor student and two-time Athlete of the Month at GHS. Her high school team is coached by Jose Hernandez. Katelyn plays her club soccer for the Orchard Valley Sting. Her major is currently undeclared. Her parents are Lynn and Mike.

Coach Bolton: Katelyn just knows how to put the ball in the back of the net. I don't ever think I've seen her play a game where she didn't score at least one goal. It is incredible! She can score anyway needed but her left foot is one of the best I've ever seen. Katelyn really caught my eye last summer with her play, high level of fitness, and love for the game.

Fun Fact: Katelyn is also a field hockey star at Gilroy High School.

Karli Nestler -- Santa Rosa, CA

A First Team All North Bay League center defender at Santa Rosa HS, Karli is expected to rule the midfield as a Warrior. She is a four-time North Bay League selection and led her team to the NCS quarterfinals in 2007 and 2008 and the NCS semi-finals in 2009 and 2010. Karli was also named Scholar Athlete in 2007, 2008, and 2010. Her high school team is coached by Nikki Kumasaka. Karli plays her club soccer for the Santa Rosa United Aftershock and head coach Emiria Salzmann. The Aftershock are 2010 State Cup Semi-finalists. Karli will be majoring in Kinesiology with the hopes of a career in sports medicine, physical therapy or personal training. Her parents are Katherine and David.

Coach Bolton: Karli is a gifted two-way player and a fierce competitor. She is the perfect defensive midfielder in our system. She has wonderful skill but at the same time a mean streak that will make her a terrific enforcer on the field. She really combines the skill of a forward with the size and toughness of a center back. There is no doubt in my mind she will elevate the play of our midfield.

Fun Fact: Karli can beat box (something the entire coaching staff can't wait to hear)!

Emma Bennett -- Murrieta, CA

A four-year varsity letterman Emma plays her high school soccer for Vista Murrieta High School in Southern California. She is a three-year All League player and two-year team captain. Her high school coach is Ryan Heise. Emma plays her club soccer for TVSA and coach Richard Alvarez. She is four-time team captain for the Hawks. She will be majoring in mathematics with the career goal of becoming a high school math teacher. Her parents are Pam and Grant.

Coach Bolton: Emma is an explosive and physical defender which is exactly what we were looking for in our 2011 class. She is a tremendous athlete with all the physical tools to take her game to the next level. She is a natural right back but she can play any position in the back line.

Fun Fact: Emma's brother Anthony plays college soccer at the University of LaVerne.

Jennifer Ramos -- Atwater, CA



Defender/Midfielder

This versatile athlete has the ability to play nearly every position on the field. She was named to the Merced Sun Star All Area Girls Soccer team in 2009, All League First Team in 2009, and Best Offensive Player for Buhach Colony HS in 2008 and 2009. Jennifer was also varsity cross-country MVP in 2007, 2008, 2010 as well as team captain in 09 and 10. She plays her club soccer for Modesto Ajax '94. The team is coached by former Cal State Stanislaus men's assistant coach Mark Vallee. He is assisted by current women's soccer coach Gabriel Bolton. Jen will be majoring in Biology. Her parents are Sang and Danny.

Coach Bolton: Jen can play every position on the field other than goalkeeper. She combines great fitness along with outstanding technical skill. She also has a very high soccer IQ. I can see Jen competing for playing time at attacking mid or outside back on our team next season. She has all the skills to be an outstanding college player.

Fun Fact: In her younger years Jennifer used to show goats in 4H.

Alyssa Strope -- Tracy, CA

A natural left back Alyssa has the ability to play any position in the back line. In 2010 she led her varsity team to the SJAA League Championship for the first time in 30 years. Tracy HS is coached by Joe Perry. She plays her club soccer for one of the top programs in the state, the Cal Cougars out of Stockton, where she is coached by Matt Kusanovich. Alyssa plans on majoring in Liberal Studies and wants to be a Special Education teacher. Her parents are Yvette and Ken.

Coach Bolton: Alyssa is one of the fittest high school athletes I've ever seen. She has the ability to run for 90 minutes and play at a high level the entire time. That is a great quality for an outside defender in our system. She loves to attack out of the back which is exactly what we are looking for from our outside backs. She is a perfect fit for our style of play.

Fun Fact: Alyssa is a member of her high school's varsity dance team (see picture on right).

Chelsea Lewandowski -- Citrus Heights, CA

A four-year varsity soccer player at Bella Vista High School for coach Christie Wheeler. She was an All League selection in 2010 and Co-Defensive MVP. Also named team captain in 2009 and scholar athlete in 2010. Plays her club soccer for Cap FC and coach Frank Ramirez. Planning on majoring in Psychology with a minor in Liberal Studies. Daughter of Mary and Jeff.

Coach Bolton: Chelsea is a fantastic goalkeeper who I expect will come in and challenge for playing time immediately. In addition to being a great athlete she brings a number of intangibles to the table. She is a terrific leader and a great communicator. Those are critical qualities for a goalkeeper at the next level.

Fun Fact: Chelsea is senior-class president at Bella Vista High School.
