Warrior women's soccer swept CCAA play this weekend with wins over San Francisco State on Friday night and Cal State Monterey Bay on Sunday afternoon. The Warriors kicked off the weekend with a 2-0 victory over the Gators. Junior Lisa Garcia scored both goals on two assists from freshman Apryl Whitney. Redshirt freshman goalkeeper Millie Brown posted the shutout behind a strong effort of the Warrior defense. READ FULL GAME STORY HERE. On Sunday Cal State Stanislaus came out on fire scoring less than 2 minutes into the match against the Otters en route to a 3-0 win. Garcia score the first goal of the match followed by a first-half finish from Whitney. Freshman Bernie Bettencourt scored 13 seconds into the second half to dash all Otter hopes of a comeback.
