Alisa Penick -- Turlock, CA

It doesn't get more local than the addition of Alisa Penick to the Cal State Stanislaus women's soccer team. The Turlock native is projected to play in the midfield for her hometown college. Known for her crafty skill on the ball and athletic ability Alisa is an All League performer from Turlock High School. She is a three-year letter winner on varsity and was First Team All League in the CCC last season. Her sophomore year she led the Bulldogs to the CCC Championship and CIF Section Quarter Finals. Her junior year the Bulldogs repeat as champions and advanced to the section semi-finals. Alisa is a three-time scholar athlete for cross country and soccer at THS. She plans on majoring in Biology and her parents are Darla and Eddie.

Coach Bolton: Alisa just kind of fell in our lap here at the last minute thanks to some good recruiting by assistant coach Jenni Rosenberg and with the help of local soccer coach Les Baptista. She is someone we have had our eye on for four years. She is extremely creative with the ball, has outstanding athletic ability, and really can play any position on the field. Alisa is going to be an outstanding college player here for the Warriors.

Fun Fact: Alisa is better known by her nickname "Mini."
